Add value to your blog with blog widgets

I believe too many widgets in a blog can have a negative affect but a widget that relates to your blog post will indeed add to your visitor’s experience. Lets say for example you are blogging about mortgages or mortgage rates.  Adding a loan calculator to that blog post will compliment the post and provide your visitors with a tool to quickly calculate their loan amount without having to leave your page.   How about if you are blogging about your county or city?  Adding a local area widget will enhance your blog post and provide your visitors with a more dynamic experience.

Many times people forget the user experience and only blog for search engines.  Ranking at the top of search engines is not worth as much if you are not able to capture the visitors that come to your blog. Quality content complimented with dynamic tools that are useful to your visitors will help them remember your blog and come back for more.
